Support Local Businesses on Black Friday: In-Store and Online Sales to Add to Your List



Looking to bypass the mega retailers and outlet malls and, instead, support local businesses on Black Friday?

Well, here's a roundup of some of the best local shops offering great in-store deals post-Turkey Day! And since these are some of my personal favorites, you will most certainly bump into me at one of these spots on Friday.



1. Cerato Boutique (3451 N. Southport Ave)
Shop the best in local designer fashion at the Black Friday tiered sale!

8am - 10am: 40% off
10am - 12 pm: 30% off
12pm - 5pm: 20% off

2. Eclectic Chique Boutique (807 W. Dickens)
Shop unique, fashion-forward clothing and one-of-a-kind jewelry at this Lincoln Park gem!

10am - 12pm: 30% off
12pm - 2pm: 20% off
2pm - close: 10% off

3. Kokorokoko (1112 N. Ashland)
For the best selection of 80s and 90s vintage, shop the insane BUY ONE GET ONE FOR $2 SALE! The sale will start on Black Friday (at 10:30am)and run through Sunday, November 27th. Expect beverages and coupons on "Small Business Saturday", when the store will be open until 8pm!

4. Labrabbit Optics (1104 N. Ashland)
Shop the #1 spot for eyewear and get 30% off all frames (1pm - 8pm)! The owner, Coyote, will be bringing in some rare vintage sunglasses stock especially for the occasion. Drinks and good music will also be provided.

5. LadieLoops (2150 S. Canalport, Suite 5B-6)
Stay stylishly warm in the knitted goodness provided by LadieLoops. Stop by from 9pm to midnight, on your way home from all that shopping, to receive 30% off and free gift wrapping!

6. Lori's Shoes (click HERE for locations)
Shoe shopping doesn't get any better than this! Stop in to get 20% off (in store only and excluding sale items). And if you want to get started early, get 20% off apparel today and 20% off winter accessories tomorrow (excluding sale items).

7. Mr. and Mrs. Digz (5668 N. Clark St)

Chicago's brick and mortar stores rock but here are a few locally-owned, online retailers offering internet discounts for those that plan to shop the web, in the comfort of their pajamas, on Black Friday.

This is a great list. I plan to check out a few of these spots really soon. Chicago really has some great boutiques.
