Poll Results: Annually, on which items do you spend the most money?

With the polls now closed, here are the results.

42% said clothing.
42% said shoes.
14% said handbags.
14% said jewelry.

Looks like clothing and shoes beat handbags and jewelry by a large margin. I can honestly say that I really don't know what I spend the most on. I tend to buy clothes more often but my shoes and handbags are more expensive. Maybe one day I'll start categorizing my budget and really know where my money goes. :)

Poll Results: Who Would You Buy?

My latest poll asked the following question:

"If you had the allowance to buy one pair of high-end shoes, who would you buy?"

Based on the results, it appears that one-third of you would purchase one of my favorite shoe designers, Manolo Blahnik. Meanwhile, there is another one-third that would rather spend the money on mid-priced shoes to get more bang for the buck. After much contemplation, I think I would agree with the latter group. I am a firm believer that quality is indeed more important than quantity but the bargain shopper in me would want to spend the money on multiple pairs of shoes. Therefore, my conclusion is that regardless of how you voted, you made a wise decision. :)

Now, for the poll results...

Manolo Blahnik - 33%
Christian Louboutin - 16%
Jimmy Choo - 0%
Giuseppe Zanotti - 0%
Other - 16%
Spend on multiple mid-priced shoes - 33%

And for those of you that chose 'Other', I'm curious to know for which designer you'd rather empty your bank account. So, feel free to leave a comment to represent your favorite high-end shoe designer.

Poll Results: Your Favorite Place to Shop

Based on the results of the poll which asked for your favorite place to shop, it appears that majority of you (75%) are like me and prefer to shop at discount stores. My favorite discount stores include TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Loehmann's. I can't bring myself to pay full price for too much of anything. And although it takes a lot more time to dig through it all, the bargains you receive are well worth it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy shopping EVERYWHERE - department stores, boutiques and online stores. After all, diversification should not only apply to your stock portfolio but to your wardrobe as well.

Now, for the poll results...

Discount Stores - 75%
Department Stores - 12%
Boutiques - 12%
Internet - 0%
